Can you tell me which version of windows and Word you have please?

And how do you mean you lost Edit?

You mean you do not see it on the menu bar? Or you cannot edit documents anymore (and if so what message does it give)?

I am using windows XP


when I download material from the internet, I usually use edit with microsoft office word, this enables me to add or delete from the material.


Since yesterdat I do not see it on the bar menu anymore.

whwn I clicked on the page it scroll down but there is no edit with microsoft office word option that used to be there. I used it a few days ago.

ok.. the version will be a number, the computer is Windows XP, not Office..

Close Word

Download this file and run it

Once you have run it, open word and tell me if you now see the Edit menu please.

Click on Download in the top right.

Go down to "TeamViewer Quicksupport"

Click on Download and download and run the program.

It will give you an ID and a Password.

Please give me the ID (leave a space between each character eg: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9) and the password in your next message to me here.

Do not close the program, but leave it open.

I can then connect to your computer.
