3. via the front screen envelope app - I can access btinternet (and Hotmail) ... I can receive btinternet email BUT when i try to send an email goes into OUTBOX and sticks there (I cannot delete them from OUTBOX either)

Do I need my outgoing email settings checked / replaced please .....

I want to receive and send email via from my windows envelope ... and I cannot send?

I'm sorry about the issue. Have you tried to disconnect the internet, i.e., either disconnect the wireless or disconnect the power cable from the internet modem/router device, then see if you can delete the emails from outbox while internet is disconnected? Then reconnect and see if you can send email.

yes - I have powered off the modem etc ... and still it doesn't work
