I have just bought a vga splitter to enable me to have 2 monitors from 1 pc. The monitors appear to work fine as a duplicate screen, however when I go into display settings to change the monitor setting to 1 big screen it only picks up 1 monitor. Any ideas? I am using windows 7 professional.
Hi there,
If you are using a splitter then you will only be able to view a duplicate image on each monitor, as there is only one graphics output.
If you want to view dual monitors as an extended display, then you will need to have a dual graphics card with two graphic outputs installed on your computer.
