I wish to make a 16 page A5 booklet via printing double sided landscape on four A4 sheets and placing the A4 sheets together and folding them in half.

It can be done, but it is not as straight forward on the mac

The link you give involves other programs besides Word. Two of these program links don't work ( CocoaBooklet and Booklightning)! Are you telling me that the Mac version of Word will not produce a booklet? Are you telling me that the only way is via a program that converts pdf into booklets?

yes, you use programs other then word for this.

And yes, Word for mac is a data processing program, its not a book creation program Alan, which is why these programs have been created.
