I can see you are a first time user to the site. What we do here is either a question and answer type of conversation or remote support where I would actually connect to the computer and have a look and attempt to fix the problem for you.
Remote support can save a lot of time if you are not comfortable performing repairs yourself. Sometimes even with instructions you can make a mistake and make things worse.

When selecting a print, I receive " no printer installed

ok, is there a printer installed?
Type in the bottom left search Device and click on devices and printers.
Do you see your printer installed there Fred?

ok, now press the windows key + R
Type in
Press enter
In the window that opens, go down till you find print spooler
Double click it and select stop if it is running
Then click start
Then try to print

received error code 1068

When exactly did you receive this error Fred? On which step?

under services, selected start

Can you press the windows key + X and click on command prompt (admin)
A black window will open.
Type in it
sfc /scannow
press enter and when it has completed, type in
chkdsk /r
Press enter.
It will give a message "the type of the file system is NTFS cannot lock current drive.
chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be checked the next time the system restarts y/n" Say Y, press enter and restart the computer.
Please note, while this normally only takes 10 minutes to run, it can take at times number of hours if windows encounters many issues. If this is occurring it is critical to let this complete as it means you have corruption on the hard drive that it needs to fix. Even if it looks like the scan is not progressing, it is, please just let it run to completion. Windows will then start when it has.
Then try to start the print spooler.

OK, scannow - no integrity violated chkdsk/I - windows scanned & no problems found

ok, now start the print spooler and try to print please.

same error code, #1068

Press the windows key + X and click on command prompt (admin)
Then type in
sc config spooler depend= RPCSS
Press enter
Make sure it does not error as you have to type it in exactly as I listed.
Then restart and tell me if you still get the error please.
