I accepted the free update to Windows 10 on my laptop a couple

Customer Question

I accepted the free update to Windows 10 on my laptop a couple of months ago. After a few weeks a free update occurred after which I could obtain only a white screen. I handed the machine to my local expert who took 2 days to rectify the matter and charged me £10.
Last night as I shut down a second free update was advised and I left the machine to carry out the update and shut down.
When I booted up the morning I saw :
1. The Dell logo followed by
2. The new Windows 10 blue logo and spinning disc of white spots
3. a White screen.
I really wish I had not updated, so many of my friends are having problems.
What is the answer please ?

Hi there and welcome
I am sorry to hear about the problem you have.
As the first step, can you please remove the power cable, then hold the power button in for 60 seconds, then release.
Then connect the power cable, turn on the computer and tell me if it now starts correctly.
Let me know the results please
