JA: What's the brand and model of your product?
Customer: Microsoft
JA: What have you tried so far with your Microsoft product?
Customer: I downloaded a file and found it was read only , I started to use it and then hoped to change and save , no joy

Please follow the steps below

  1. From Explorer, search for the Excel File in question.
  2. Right-click on the Excel file you want to edit.
  3. Select Properties.
  4. Go to the bottom of the General Tab.
  5. Uncheck the Read Only check box.
  6. Click OK to finalize.
