Hello I bought a new microsoft programme but can't use it.
JA: What application are you using?
Customer: firefox
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: no
JA: Anything else you want the Microsoft Office Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: i also have been unable to use screen support with my technician.

Please follow the steps below in order to install Microsoft Office Subscription on your PC or MAC.

  1. Go to www.office.com and if you're not already signed in, select Sign in.
  2. Sign in with the account you associated with this version of Office. This account can be a Microsoft account, or work or school account.
  3. From the Office home page select Install Office.
  4. A file will be downloaded
  5. Run/Open the downloaded file
  6. Office will take some time to install depending on your internet connection
  7. After the installation, open any Microsoft Office app
  8. You will be prompted to activate the product
  9. Click Sign in and use the email linked with Microsoft Office Subscription to activate it

i cannot sign in. I have tried both passwords (email & microsoft) and have checked my password

To recover your account, please follow the steps below.

  1. Go to https://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspx
  2. Enter your email and click Next
  3. Verify your identity: Verifying your identity depends on your previously added security info to your account and if you can still access them
  4. Choose the verification option either Email or Phone, whichever you have access to. Then click Next
  5. Depending on the contact method you chose, retype the first part of the email address or the last four digits of the phone number and Select “Get Code”
  6. Microsoft will send a verification code to the email or phone number you selected
  7. Go to the recovery phone or email where you expect to receive the code
  8. Paste or type the code you received and select Next
  9. Type your new password ***** select Next
