Hi Robert.

Good a pinin!!, typical water ingress is from the roof rail ,remove and under the foot they rust and let in water .

If you need further assistance with this issue then please let me know by getting back to me with the reply button, and not the poor or bad service, this way i can get back to you or suggest another expert if needed.

Kind regards Greg

Hi Greg

Thanks to your help I was able to remove the rail and there was no rust at all but I could see some damage to the mastic seam near to the windshield.

I suspect caused by the replacement shield 3 years ago.

However, I applied some mystical all along, put all back and took the car south of the river to find some rain.

A good hour in the rain and no leak.

We are due rain tomorrow (Sunday) and I am confident we are now dry.

Many thanks Rob Venables

Hi Rob .

Good hope it stays dry ,did you grease the bolts when you rplaced the roof rail .this will stop it rusting .

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Thanks Greg

As well as going over the mystic I did give all nuts and screws a good covering of grease.

Many thanks

Thank you Robert .

Happy dry motoring Wink.
