Ask a Neurologist and Get an Answer ASAP
Hello and thank you for your question.
Is the pain burning?
Though you do not have fracture, one possibility of wrist pain can be due to compression of the median nerve. This condition is called carpel tunnel syndrome.
To evaluate you need to see a neurologist who can order EMG nerve conduction test.
You may need wrist splint at night and medication like gabapentin to reduce the pain if you get evaluated with nerve compression.
i tried wrist splint at night and feel it aggravated it .Sometimes when i waken my wring finger and little finger are numb i also feel as though my wrist is inflamed. thank you
You're welcome. Numbness is due to median nerve compression.
I would suggest to try medication like gabapentin to ease the pain.
You also need exercise for relieving the compression.
