Thanks for the details

The symptoms does not suggest any kind of infection

These seems more like allergic symptoms

In my view you need to use an anti-histamine and also a short course of steroids

This will help in settling the problem

Please do let me know if you have any other question

I am being referred to neurology, are sure this is the condition
Expert:  DR. EHTISHAM replied 9 days ago.

It does not look like a neurological problem

What made them refer you to neurologist?

Regards

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
I saw Gp who stated my left nostril was inflamed and could see what looked like polyps. I was referred for an CT scan discussed results today and everything was clear. Consultant referred me to neurology as he said the headaches may affect the nervous system
Customer: replied 9 days ago.
I’m confused!!
Expert:  DR. EHTISHAM replied 9 days ago.

Well headache can be due to nasal symptoms

I don,t think you have a primary neurological problem

But you can get an evaluation if being referred

To me it needs an anti-histamine and steroids as these seems like allergic symptoms

Please do let me know if you have any other question

I have been doing some research and fully aware internet is not the best way to go. I came across persistent idiopathic facial pain and trigeminal neuralgia, what’s your thoughts
Expert:  DR. EHTISHAM replied 9 days ago.

It is possible that you may have trigeminal autonomic cephalgia

But usually the headache is severe and unilateral

Please do let me know if you have any other question
