Hi I have Ventricular shunt. I am 48 years old and I have some wear and tear damage to it. I was unaware and had no symptoms. I had a brain scanI believe so he could make money. Will seeing a Neurosurgeon automatically

No, seeing a neurosurgeon does not automatically mean surgery.

We actually do not like operating on ventricular shunts unless we absolutely have to do so.

If you have no symptoms, it's unlikely that you need any surgery here.
