Expert:  Dr Anil Kumar replied 1 year ago.

Sorry for late reply and inconvenience.

Thanks for all this additional information.

I understand your concern.

Well as you describe, it sounds like an ear infection with Eustachian tube blockage.

If you have sudden weakness in the muscles on one half of the face, one side of your face to droop or become stiff. You may have difficulty smiling or closing your eye on the affected side then Bell's Palsy can be possible and you need to see a doctor in an emergency room ASAP.

The eustachian tube is a canal that connects the middle ear to the nasopharynx, which consists of the upper throat and the back of the nasal cavity. It controls the pressure within the middle ear, making it equal with the air pressure outside the body.

Do steam inhalation, oral betadine rinse and saline gargles.
You should take the nasal saline spray and OTC Nasonex spray.
You should take Ibuprofen and Night Nurse./Claritin.
You should hydrate yourself with warm liquids.

Place a warm or cold flannel on the ear.
You should start a multivitamin supplement and vitamin C lozenges.
Elevate your head while lying down.
If your symptoms will persist then see your doctor for further evaluation and management.
