Customer Question

Hi there, over the last 3 days I have had 2 lumps appear behind my ear. One is quite large, one the bone, does not move and hurts a little when pressed in a certain area.
The other is opposite my lobe, smaller and softer, feels moveable and does not hurt. I experienced neck ache last week but that was all. I do not take any medication or allergic to anything. I am 24 year old female.

I am worried in case it is something very serious, can you please let me know if you’ve seen this before ?

this is Dr. David

these may be enlarged or reactive lymph nodes in your posterior neck

sometimes these lymph nodes can swell up as your body is fighting off infections

I have not been noticeably ill or anything accept having coronavirus in February although the lumps appeared 3 days ago. Can they still fight infection even when you’re not noticeably sick ?
Expert:  Dr. David replied 11 days ago.

you should see a doctor and get them examined
