Why am I collapsing without losing consciousness able to hear and see
JA: Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
Customer: I’m awaiting Neurological appt. have had other consultations with ENT and Medical. Numerous CTs etc. No heart or brain issues. Have Fibromyalgia and take Pregabalin for this to ease pain. Take Venkafaxine for Anxiety/Depression/Panic attacks On this for many years and have no issues regarding this. Collapsing started suddenly on June 1st 2021

I can lift both arms but have no strength in my body when collapse happens. It can return within about half an hour or take hours!

Venlafaxine 75mg & 37.5 mg daily
Fulfilment-D3 800 1 daily
Paracetamol x 8 daily
Utrogestan 100mg 1 daily
Oestrogel once daily
Amitriptyline 10mg 1 daily. Only just started these
Take antihistamines for hay fever when necessary
Asthma pumps when needed fibromyalgia, anxiety/depression, recurring costochondritis (left side only) hay fever and asthma.
FND recently diagnosed but think needs to be confirmed and cause by Neurologist

Have had lots of blood tests. Show nothing except vitamin D
CT and MRI all normal
Echocardiogram & 24 hr heart monitor all normal
Chest wall u/s in connection with Costochondritis discovered fractured rib ( which I sustained on a ward during collapse)

Been seen by Medics, ENT, Rheumatology. All say I need to see a Neurologist But very long wait (a month ago I was informed there’s a possible 40 week wait for an initial appt

I can't find the reason.  brain imaging is also normal. also so many specialities have seen you and they have not found any thing abnormal.

it does not sound like a seizures. Any possibility of low blood sugar?

there are certain uncommon conditions like hypokalemic periodic paralysis,. this is associated with thyroid disorder.

what is your ethnicity

White British. All blood tests return normal except for vitamin B deficiency which I am in a 3 month course for. Have about weeks left if that course

Severe vit b12 deficiency can lead to neurological problems due to problems with the nerve coverings but the weakness will be permanent and not coming and going like in your case

you can do it yourself. a simple BP device (15-25 pounds) can be got and you can check your lying and standing BP.

you seem to have multiple complaints. it is difficult to decipher without examining you. Medicine is all about pattern recognition with regards ***** ***** your symptoms don't seem to fit a pattern.
