JA: Do you keep personal medical records to help track this?
Customer: Yes

Hi. I’m Dr. Mark. I’m a board certified physician and happy to assist you. I need some additional information. Your age and gender?
Are the headaches on one side of the head?
Customer: replied 17 days ago.
I’m 18 and female. The pressure is all around and is accompanied with nausea
Customer: replied 17 days ago.
I feel really ill and irritable. Honestly it is taking a real toll on me for this past year and I don’t know what to do. A lot of doctors continue to say it’s just fine and that my scan is fine so I should be fine but I don’t feel fine
It’s probably migraines that you have . Your gp should try you on migraine medication. First we try ibuprofen. It’s often trial and error until we find one that works. Here’s the list.
Prescription drugs for migraine headaches include:Triptan class of drugs (these are abortives):Sumatriptan.
Calcium channel blockers:Verapamil.
Calcitonin gene-related (CGRP) monoclonal antibodies:Erenumab.
Beta blockers:Atenolol.
Antiseizure drugs:Valproic acid.

It doesn’t feel like a migraine however. There is no pulsating pain. It’s very pressurized headache.
I prefer to start with ibuprofen along with a beta blocker or verapamil. Not Amitriptyline.
Customer: replied 17 days ago.
I tried ibuprofen. Paracetamol, decline ax, naproxen and then went to amitriptyline
Beta blockers or verapamil should be tried next.

Do you think this is sinister
It’s definitely not cancer. It’s a migraine.
Customer: replied 17 days ago.
Or that I should have an MRI
Customer: replied 17 days ago.
Okay thank you
Customer: replied 17 days ago.
What about an MRI, would that be advised?
Nothing sinister. No need for an mri.
