hi jake im finding a bit of oil near the hose close to the engine top side behind the radiator can you advise what this is? mine is an xtrail 2007 model india

Hi there, can you tell me which engine you have? is this a petrol model?

Since I have yet to hear from you, i will assume this is a petrol model.


That being the case, the most common places for oil to leak are at the valve cover gasket corner by the radiator hose or at the cam sensor on the back drivers side of the valve cover.


The trick is to find the highest point of oil leakage, and go from there as it commonly runs down.
