Nissan Murano inserted key into ignition and turned to start

This answer was rated:

Nissan Murano inserted key into ignition and turned to start - nothing... Appears to have little or no battery but was sure lights and everything was switched off upon leaving her last night.
Any help or guidance would be useful.
Hi there, I'd be happy to help.
So when you turn to START, you get nothing at all? No clicking or anything?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

No nothing..

Plus also cannot get key out of ignition now..

Ok, that means the battery is completely dead.
There is actually a emergency key release lever on the ignition cylinder for this reason.
So all you need to do is replace the battery and you should be good. You could attempt to jump start it first, but if its that dead it may not even jump off.
