Brake and battery lights flashing indicates a charging issue. Do you have a volt meter on you? so we can test and verify this? All you have to do is start the vehicle and put an electrical load on it (headlights, blower, radio, etc. ) Then check the voltage charge rate at the battery. If it's under 14 volts than you have a charging issue, either because the alternator is failing or the belt is slipping.
