JA: What is the model of your '04 Nissan?
Customer: Xtrail sve
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have tried taking plugs out and drying them . It only does this after it has been left overnight
JA: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you?

Hi my name is ***** ***** all the plugs wet when left overnight ?

Have you had the injectors tested for weeping.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
no THIS problem has been happening in the past off and on

Is it more often now.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
it will not start today after cleaning plugs it just soaks them straightaway

Are you confident on the spanners.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I am quite confident as I have been all kinds of vehicles but I have never touched a Nissan before

Are you ok removing the injectors and giving the fuel pump a 12 v feed.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I will have a look at it over the weekend and come back to you next week .What should I be looking for when I put 12V to fuel pump

Get the injectors out still connected to the fuel pipes put a clean cloth at the end of the injectors and run the pump for half an hour to check for weeping.

Thank you I will report back next week

Yes keep me posted regards Gavin.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Thank you will keep you posted when I have time to check injectors
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I have not had time to check injectors I was just wandering could it be something else as the 4 plugs are getting flooded.

Is there any trouble codes ? I suspect not with the issue you are getting.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Not now but Engine light did come up once and it just said misfiring on multicylinders which I expected with all the plugs flooded.

Yes so it has more of a mechanical issue rather then a electronic issue so to diagnose it is a matter of testing items starting with the injectors. I am giving you advice on how I would go about solving the issue myself.
