I need to know the required belt tensions for the power

This answer was rated:

I need to know the required belt tensions for the power steering drive belt and the alternator drive belt on a Nissan Pathfinder SE DCI 174
JA: What shape is the drive belt in? Do you know if it needs to be replaced, or just adjusted?
Customer: the power steering belt just needs adjusting, the alternator belt has been replaced
JA: What year is your Pathfinder?
Customer: 2006
JA: Are you fixing your Pathfinder yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes, I have replaced the alternator belt due it cracking. I just need to find the tensions to make sure it doesn’t slip or overload the bearings
JA: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no

I have attached an image to assist.

The outer belt (power steering) Tighten tensioner pulley nut finger tight.

Apply a load of 10 kg to belt at dtd 3 .
Tighten tensioning bolt to tension belt 2 .
Check belt deflection.
New belt deflection: 4,6 - 5,4 mm . Used belt deflection: 7,1 - 7,7 mm .
