What you should have done is get your thyroid tested with a TSH thyroid blood test

Dr Owen :

Also, you should get your ovaries checked with an ultrasound, you might be having ovarian cysts such as PCOS - Polycystic ovarian syndrome.

In addition I would checked for Insulin resistance and also your adrenals with the following blood tests which can be done at the same time when you get the Thyroid TSH done.

So the additional blood tests you need are Testosterone, DHEA-S and Insulin
