13 weeks pregnant (due to my scan) on the (9th March) I did

13 weeks pregnant (due to my scan) on the (9th March)
I did a clear blue pregnancy test on the (8th Jan) I said I conceived 2-3 weeks ago..
All my scans have added up to the clear blue results..
My last period was on the 5th-9/10th December, I am on a 28-31 day cycle.. More towards a 29-31 day cycle, my period are pretty much dead on every month, starting 4th-6th no later.. Ending 8-10th again no later...
However I had a sex with someone (massive mistake) on the 12th December (2 days after my period) then didn't have sex with sexual intercourse with anyone else till 16th Dec then throughout all that week I only had one sexual partner (the person I still happen to be with)..
& I am due on the 14th Sept.. If I count up 38 weeks from my due date it brings me to the 22nd Dec estimated date I conceived..
(10days after the 12th) which meets my clear blue and scans.. I have used the online calculators and they all state my possible days on conception are between 18th-25th December, does this mean these are the days of sexual intercourse that could have lead to pregnancy?
I have spoken to the other potential father (the 12th) and he is confident it's not his child I am carrying... As I slept with his 2 days after my period, 7th day do my cycle and it wasn't fertile at that point...

Congratulations on the pregnancy.

It would appear that your delivery date is 11th September 2014 being 40 weeks after the first day of your last period which is 5th December 2013.

The date you may have conceived is 19th December 2013 so yes, the 198th to 25th December 2013 are the days of intercourse that must have led to the pregnancy.

Hope this answers your question.

Sorry for the typo, it should have read 18th to 25th December...

Thankyou for your reply, it was great! However I thought it would have been answered by a doctor rather than a solicitor? Is there anyway you could pass my question over to a doctor?
Kind Regards
I will do.

Is it likely that when I had sex on the 12th December this caused my pregnancy? When I went for my scan on the 10th Feb they changed my due date to the 14th September, and I was 9 weeks and 1 day.
Unlikely in my opinion but i will see if a medic can answer you.
Hi, I'm Dr Helen, a UK doctor.
I am afraid that it is not possible to tell you exactly when you conceived or by which partner.
Sperm can live for up to 7 days.
Therefore the sperm from your sexual encounter on December 12th could have still been alive on December 19th.
You probably did conceive around the 18th to 23rd of December but it could have been from either partner.
This NHS website explains more about why you can get pregnant at any time of the month, even when on a period:

I'm sorry that this is probably not what you want to hear but it is an accurate answer to your question.
