Hi there,
I am an experienced Medical Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

How many cycles you are having one day period?

Any medication you are on?

Customer: replied 10 days ago.
First cycle like that. Before was normal. But I noticed that last 3 cycles a little bit scanty. I mean first day is quite heavy, and next 2 days quite scanty. Also before the period I had brown discharge, never happened before. I don’t take any medications. Only evening primrose oil supplement

Hello???
Expert:  Dr Basu replied 10 days ago.

Ok thanks for your patience --due to technical difficulty I was not able to reply back.

Based on your description, you are likely experiencing some hormone imbalance.

Lighter period suggests drop in estrogen level and probably you are not ovulating either.

This can be temporary problem.

However, hormone disorder like thyroid hormone disorder, diabetes, estradiol, testosterone, prolactin levels should be checked by blood tests.

I have ovulation discharge every month
Expert:  Dr Basu replied 10 days ago.

Ok that may not be always due to ovulation by the way.

Overall, does not sound overtly concerning.

But, if you want to pursue further, that is the next step of action --to check hormone levels.

Customer: replied 10 days ago.
Could it be premature ovarian failure?
Expert:  Dr Basu replied 10 days ago.

That is unlikely
