Customer Question

Is it required for me to see an OB/GYN before trying for a baby?
JA: Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
Customer: No I have not and I'm taking no medications
JA: Is there anything else the Doctor should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: In my cervical smear test at age 25, my doctor had to remove a small area of growth (stage 2) but since then I have been fine

It is not normal practice to see Ob/Gyn prior to trying for a baby. You should however avoid alcohol, take pre pregnancy vitamins, quite smoking if a smoker. Any other health concerns should be addressed with you family doctor.
