Hi Dr Baker
Customer: replied 15 days ago.
I’ve had a very painful bump on my labia for a few days now and I just noticed a soreness on both sides of my vagina
Customer: replied 15 days ago.
I thought it may a spinning injury but just want to clarify
Expert:  Dr Baker replied 15 days ago.

I am sorry to hear. Have you had anything like this before?

Customer: replied 15 days ago.
The bump I have had once before a few years ago. I can’t remember what triggered it then
Customer: replied 15 days ago.
It looks like a cyst
Expert:  Dr Baker replied 15 days ago.

Okay. So a short history of something like this does suggest a cyst is likely. If it is not getting bigger and the pain is controlled then warm baths will help and it will be like settle over the next week. If however if gets worse then an infection is likely therefore antibiotics would be required.

the soreness around the area?
Expert:  Dr Baker replied 15 days ago.

That is my pleasure, this is likely due to irritation or directly from an inflamed cyst

Thank you

You could cover with Clotrimazole as a fungus is often the first thing that causes soreness

Okk
Customer: replied 15 days ago.
Could I still attend my spin class or would you advise not to till it’s gone?
Expert:  Dr Baker replied 15 days ago.

If the pain is not significant then I think this would be fine

Customer: replied 15 days ago.
Thank you Dr
