I have had pain in my left for a couple of weeks.

Customer Question

I have had breast pain in my left breast for a couple of weeks. I can't feel it unless I touch it and I have not injured it.

It has nothing to do with periods as I never get sore breasts.

I am worried

I am 27 and have not detected any lumps

It is most likely hormonal changes or fibrocystic breast disease...
Have you been examined by your doctor?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.
No I've not been to see doctor.. It doesn't hurt unless I press on it and even then there is not always pain
Expert:  DrRussMD replied 4 years ago.
That is fairly typical of hormonal changes.

It does warrant an exam but it would not be an indication of breast cancer at your age.
