I have recently had breast cancer and now in remission. I have noticed a swollen lymph node in my armpit. It’s not hard but I can see it though my skin? Is this something to worry about

Ok. A bit unusual site for a lymph node. I would say to please get it examined. The top of the list thing which should not be missed is a recurrence..

As I said it's a bit unusual site for an enlarged axillary node but definitely needs to be seen

A cancer can spread to a lymph node. In that case the node will enlarge. We need to rule out this possibility here

It can involve any group of axillary nodes...anterior, medial, lateral, posterior, apical..
