Skateboarding I just fell on tile and had an avulsion fracture

Customer Question

Skateboarding I just fell on tile and had an avulsion fracture of the greater trochanter and it's 5cm separated.

Is there any sane non surgical scenario?

All other things aside what's best long term to get me back on the board?

I'm 49 and in good health.

This is a surgical repair.

No other sane approach.

The long term bland after this needs to be lots of rehab.

Preferably with a rehab specialist MD in charge of that plan
