Is 37.4 classed a temp in a 15 month old
Hello and thank you for your question. Any temperature in the 37 range is not considered a fever. A true fever is 38 C or higher. Below this level, there is no need to give any medication to reduce the temperature.

Can temp go up and down for no reason?? As in 37.6 back down to 37.4??
Yes, body temperature can vary, even without the presence of an illness. If your child is dressed very warmly, has been engaging in physical activity, or the room ambient temperature is rather warm, this can cause minor temperature elevations. There is no concern for something more serious going on at this temperature range.
