Customer: replied 20 days ago.
I am afraid it might be related
Expert:  Zee J replied 20 days ago.

Thanks

Did she develop any fever?

Customer: replied 20 days ago.
No no fever
Customer: replied 20 days ago.
She is herself except from the stool and the fact that she is not eating much
Expert:  Zee J replied 20 days ago.

It might not be related to vitamins and might be having some bug

Expert:  Zee J replied 20 days ago.

Diarrhoea and vomiting are common in children and babies. They're often caused by a stomach bug and should stop in a few days.

Customer: replied 20 days ago.
But is it dangereous
Customer: replied 20 days ago.
Yeah I know but is this not dangerous the fact she had a double dose of vitamins?
Customer: replied 20 days ago.
Especially one which is not of her age range?
Expert:  Zee J replied 20 days ago.

Excessive vitamins are bad but just one extra spoon should not be dangerous

Expert:  Zee J replied 20 days ago.

She might be having diarrhea due to that extra spoon or could be some viral bug

Expert:  Zee J replied 20 days ago.

is she able to drink milk or water?

Customer: replied 20 days ago.
she is
Expert:  Zee J replied 20 days ago.

Ok good

Expert:  Zee J replied 20 days ago.

In this situation the most important thing is to have lots of fluids to avoid dehydration.

Customer: replied 20 days ago.
Don't you want to know the main ingredients in the vitamins just to be on the safe side?
Expert:  Zee J replied 20 days ago.

Yes that is good

Customer: replied 20 days ago.
Vitamin D 7ug /10ml
Calcium 300mg /10ml
Magnesium 150mg/10 ml
Zinc 3mg
Copper 250ug
Expert:  Zee J replied 20 days ago.

Thanks

All these are natural vitamins and minerals used

Customer: replied 20 days ago.
Ok. So nothing to worry then?
Expert:  Zee J replied 20 days ago.

These simple measures would be helpful:

  1. Plenty of rest

  2. Lots of fluids, such as water or squash

  3. Carry on breast or bottle feeding your baby – if being sick, try giving small feeds more often than usual

  4. Encourage to eat soft diet

Expert:  Zee J replied 20 days ago.

Please do not have fruit juice or fizzy drinks – they can make diarrhoea worse

Customer: replied 20 days ago.
Ok
Customer: replied 20 days ago.
Ok thanks
Expert:  Zee J replied 20 days ago.

As long as baby is eating drinking and active and wetting nappies the diarrhea will stop

Expert:  Zee J replied 20 days ago.

You are welcome

Please do let me know if you have any further questions in future I would be happy to answer
