Hi..

Hopefully i can help..

If your refering to the rear axle beam trailing arm bearings at either side in which the trailing arm is attached to the axle tube and not the axle mountings to body..then it can be possible to replace just the bearings, but its quite long a job and is usually best left to garage - and would sometimes anyway depending on the garage require the whole axle assembly taken off/down to get the arm off from the axle tube / bearings usually hydraulic pressed off and on...before removal they would need to likly mark torsion bar, arms alignment.measure current ride height...etc.then theres the added risk of possible wear or water ingress damage caused by the worn bearings to the axle tube or outer area in which the old bearing/bush has been in worn down etc..which would most likly then require another rear axle set up fitted instead..in fact in some cases with problems like this sometimes its much easier just to fit another axle on wether it be a reconditioned one plus labour to fit "wether its at all worth it based on the age of the vehicle to consider too" or one from a breakers yard provided it doesn't have the same problem..i do hope this helps
