Customer Question

2003 406 2.2HDi Estate (Executive) 105K miles. Just started leaking rainwater on driver's side. Possibly from sunroof but unable to confirm. Recently had windscreen replaced by National Windscreens who say not their problem!!
Water getting in behind dashboard covering fuses (leading to RAC recovery from holiday).
Driver's footwell filling with water. Never had this problem before, local Peugeot main dealer completely foxed - must be windscreen??
Any ideas please. Returning vehicle to National Windscreens tomorrow (16th Oct) for second time.

Hello, welcome. My name is Mike, I will do my very best to
assist you with your question.

From what you are describing this is the seal of the new windscreen mainly because the leak was not there before the replacement. It is hard to simulate rain with spraying the screen with water. What I would suggest is to keep hounding them until they stand behind their work.It is common after the windscreen replacement if either not enough sealant was used or if it was not allowed to dry long enough for a leak to be present.
