Hi There I've a 10 plate 308 estate with an intermittent airbag/seatbelt warning light, It started after something was pushed under the seats, is it possible this is just a loose conection?

Hopefully i can help..

Its possible as you say just the connection under the seat that been knocked or come loose, not to uncomon for that to happen on alot of cars..these will usually be the airbag/srs system wiring/plug connectors for either the side airbag within the seat or pre-tensioners..ideally it would have to be case of checking those connections you see under there, the seat and ensure they are fully pushed home together, dont pull them apart the plugs - just push them together..if you dont want to do this yourself as airbag systems should only be worked on by those that a re quailified to do so..then any good local garage should be able to double check that for you at the same its possible too if that warning doesnt go out after it does go through it own self test - you will need to have the system diagnostically checked/car plugged in to ensure its not a fualt elsewhere..if it just related to those connectors then once those have been checked then the fault codes can be cleared using the diagnostic machine and that should be that..I do hope this helps
