I HAVE A MANUAL 1007 1.4 dOLCE 55000 miles . Vibrations started on the clutch Pedal ,
I phoned the warranty people , they told me to take it into Halfords , they said it needs a new gearbox because of the rumbling of the gearbox housing.
I phoned the dealer , who wanted a second opinion from his own garage.
They say it only needs a clutch ,
Question : Does the gearbox housing rumble if it only the clutch ?
Thank you

Depends on the nature of the failure thats occured in regards ***** ***** clutch assembly or flywheel - can cause a vibration through the gearbox or felt upon the pedal itself during depressing or during release/biting point etc...if the clutch, friction plate is distorted or the flywheel is damaged/heat,warp damaged can cause vibrations to be felt.. the only way to be fully certain of that as you'll know is to get the gearbox off and inspect the clutch itself/flywheel too.
