Retrieving security code for Toshiba CTX phone system

Dear sir, We're using Toshiba Strata CTX phone system at office. Currently we would like to get the voice greeting changed but we forget the security code. Could you help advise us how to get re-set the security code or retrieve the default security code?

Thank you for using Just Answer my name is Carl and I will help with your question.

I have had a look at the programming manual and I have this to try I don't know if it will work as the system might prompt for your password before you can change it.

Your mailbox password is initially set when you access your mailbox for the first

time and complete the mailbox setup process. However, you can change your

mailbox password at any time.

To change your mailbox password:

1. Call the voice messaging system and select

3 4 1

2. Enter a new password

3. The system will ask you to confirm the password.

You can also delete your mailbox password without entering a new one:

1. Call the voice messaging system and select

3 4 2

2. The system will ask you to press

# to confirm deletion

I can upload a link to the system administrator and programming manuals if that will help.

Thanks for your reply but it seems not a solution we look for.


Basically, we're changing our voice greeting at the system so that people will be noticed that we are on holiday closure when they call up our main line. We should be able to get it changed in our phone system directly but just without the default security code. It is not related to the individual mailbox at all.


Please let me know if you could sort out the above with us.
