Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,Sorry I didn't see your question earlier and to hear of the issue you are having with your phones. To help you with this issue, may I ask:1) The Model Number of the MAIN BASE UNIT of the phone system you are working with? I assume the main base is an S795, but I need to confirm.2) How many TOTAL handsets do you have with this system? If more than one, do ALL handsets have this same issue?3) What phone service provider (phone company) you have for this phone line?4) If you have ANY other devices (phones, fax, alarm system, etc.) attached to this same phone line (not part of the MAIN system), and if so, are they working properly?5) Are the "other callers" that complain about a "bad line" the people on the OTHER SIDE of the conversation? Initially, if these are "outside callers" complaining of a bad line, that COULD be what you have - a "line problem" with the service provider. As a FIRST STEP to troubleshoot this issue, trying a DIFFERENT phone on your line would be a good TEST - to see if it has volume problem too. - OR - You can take the MAIN BASE UNIT and one handset to a DIFFERENT location (friend's home, an office, etc.) and TEST the volume there (using a different phone line). Once one of these TESTS are done, we will have a good idea of if the Gigaset system is the issue OR the phone service itself. Please let me know what you can TEST and what you find with these tests. Best Regards, *****
