Hass it worked before and just stopped working, or it has not worked from the start?

What do people hear when they try to call you?
Please remove the power to the base unit and the batteries from the handset
Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power to the base unit, put the batteries in the handset and tell me if it then functions correctly.
Please let me know the results
Can you pick up the handset, hold the hangup button for 20 seconds, release and tell me if it then works please
It is the internal mainboard in the phone then that has faulted, if the line is ok this is the only remaining cause.
