i am receiving complaints from peope phoning me about the recorded messages before they can speak to me. These messages have only started recently. Can I delete them?

Customer: Nothing -I dont know what to do

Please remove the power to the base unit and the batteries from the handset

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power to the base unit, put the batteries in the handset and tell me if it then functions correctly.
