Customer Question

Due to a small fresh water leak from our back boiler (heating engineer due tomorrow) we turned the water off at the stop cock under the kitchen sink, only turning it on to fill the cistern and to have showers. Now the water supply seems to have stopped altogether. the stop cock under the sink is quite new (fitted by a plumber) and there is water in the tank in the roof space ( I had wondered if the ballcock had jammed) now we have nothing. Suggestions please.

Plumbers_Mate : Do you have water at your kitchen sink - this will always be mains supplied?
