I have just changed out the expansion vessel on my system. Cold reading 1.2bar. No leaks all looks ok. Turned on heating, hot water fine but central heating still cold. bled the rads and no air in the system. Is it just a case of waiting a while longer?
It's been over an hour now.
You may need to bleed the pump. Open the pump bleed screw and release the air , then retighten. Also check all valves are open

Ok, thanks. That seems to be working, radiators heating up one at a time.
That's great , all the best
