Have a cold tank in attic and hot tank in airing cupboard.

This answer was rated:

Have a cold tank in attic and hot tank in airing cupboard. Used to have fantastic water pressure (used to have to shut toilet lid when it flushed to stop getting wet)
the pressure is now very weak. Im still getting hot water, but my cold water is down to a trickle from both kitchen and bathroom taps. If running a bath the hot water lasts for aroubd 7 minutes before running out , and i then have to wait at least an hour to get more. Taking a shower is impossible as there is no cold to mix in with the hot to avoid scalding. Im thinking the problem is before it gets to the tanks ?
Hi , it sounds like your water storage tank in the loft isn't filling quickly enough . you will need to replace the tank ball valve as it may be completely scaled.
To confirm this look into the tank with bath taps running. The water should fill quickly enough to fill back up, at least once a bath is run
Hi ,would you mind rating your answer please , thanks
