I have s gravity fed shower with a pump but every so often there is no water coming out.
What can be the problem and how can j solve it?

Hi , it sounds like your either
Your cold water storage tank is too small or
Your tank filling valve ( ball valve ) is scaled and filling too slowly.
The best way to check this is is to look into the tank as the shower is running and see if the tank is draining too quickly and the water level is below the outlets , so sucking air in.
Also your pump may be too powerful for your size of tank .
