Customer Question

Electric Shower problem
Hi, I have a strange issue with one of the electric showers in my bathroom.
I have power to unit
I have water to unit.
If I use the unit in another bathroom, it works.
If I use a working unit from another bathroom in my bathroom (Same make and model), it doesn't work.

Hi , do you have the same Ayer pressure in both bathrooms ? Maybe you have mains water pressure in one and tank fed water in the other
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Hi, these are both fed from the same combination boiler

So , you have two electric showers in separate bathrooms and one works ,one doesn't . But if you put the one that doesn't work I to the other shower it works? Is that right? If that's right ,have you tried putting the one that works In to the other bathroom that doesn't
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Yes. You are correct. I have tried the swapping showers around and the one that doesn't work in my bathroom works in the other bathroom
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
And the one that works then doesn't work in my bathroom

Hi, it could be a pressure issue or an electric supply issue.I would test the water pressure at both outlets and check the wiring. Has the neutral and live been swopped, is the cable the same size, etc. Fuse rating, do the showers have separate circuits?
