We have a potterton prima f boiler which keeps cutting

Customer Question

We have a potterton prima f boiler which keeps cutting out within a few seconds of igniting. Upon turning heating on the pilot lights, followed by the main burner, to cut out a few seconds later while the pilot stays on. Fan seems noisy; could it be this or is it more likely to be the gas galve/ pcb? This has got progressively worse since Christmas. Thanks

Hi, it is most likely the fan . As the fan runs it operates the air pressures switch which in turn fires the burner. What your experiencing is a classic sign of that situation. Recommend Replace the fan .
