I have a small crack in a tile in my shower, and water was leaking to the flat below me. I have tried to seal it with grout but I'm not sure if it has sealed it because it is a very fine crack. Is it likely to be ok or should I use something else on it? It is 4 cm high and about half a millimetre wide.

Ok, if you have time best to scrape the grout out from around there and redo the small area

I went over it several times with a knife but it was hard to fill it
Best to scrape it out and fill the whole thing
