Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

The Canon MultiPass MP360 printer, as shown here:

has an 'operations panel' or control panel whose buttons are called various things depending upon the context and also depending upon the country where the printer is purchased. In the case of the 'Set' key or button, it is also known as the 'OK' button, and is the button on the bottom side of the round set of buttons - as shown here by the red arrow, it is button (5), as shown in this graphic image: MP360 panel buttons location.GIF

Thanks, I have the error message Data Error Press Set Key

Pressing this doesn't do anything and printer is frozen. Only way to turn off is turn off the power

How old is the printer? measured from its date of purchase as a new device.

Is the printer hooked up to the computer directly, by way of a USB cable?
Or is it networked in some fashion (wirelessly, or by a network cable) ?

What sort of computer are you printing from?

What sort of print job(s) is/are the printer giving a Data Error from?
(If you have a Windows computer, after turning the computer Off, and clearing the previous print job out of the printer's queue, try printing from Notepad:
Start - [All] Programs - Accessories - Notepad
type in a few words or sentences then send it to the printer by
File - Print ............does that work properly? if so, then you may have sent a print job to the printer that disturbed its function.)

Let me know as to the above points, and the result of the above test. Thanks.
