I am trying to print a study module of 26 pages. it printed half - I was doing two sides job- Then the printer stopped and I cannot get it to resume the task or start again from new
Also i cannot cancel or delete it from the printing queue?

What version of windows or mac is on the computer? You said you can not cancel but also said you cleared the que, which did you do? Clearing the que would cancel all.

No i tried subsequent printing jobs but they were all queued up behind the problematic task, I could cancel and delete these but not the problem task

windows xp

Click on start and then run.
Type in services.msc and click on ok.

In the windows that opens find print spooler and double click on it.
It may be hard to find but it will be there or you would not have a que.

In the window that opens click on the stop button.
Wait 60 seconds and then in that same window click on the start button.
