Good morning
I am trying to scan a document from an Envy 4524 to an HP Pavilion lap top.
the printer is telling me that no computer found but the lap top is connected by the cable.
Please can you tell me how I can rectify this problem?

Hi I have downloaded the file for remote assistance. Do I need to do anything else.

Yes you have to open that file so that I can connect to your system

Close the file in which I was chatting and again open that downloaded file.

I will be about 15 minutes as I have had to pop out.

The connection is quite slow and i m getting disconnected again and again. Close the applications for some time running in your background

Sorry for the delay. I will shut down the lap top, which is connected by the connection wire. The printer seems not to be reading it. I will let you know when I have done all of this.
