My paper shredder will not work for paper going forward.

My paper shredder will not work for paper going forward. When I enter the paper if goes for one second then cuts off, whereas if I try the reverse switch it carries on working but I cannot use that to do any shredding. Can you put me in touch with someone who would be able to repair the fault? I live between Leeds and York.

Customer: It has just started.
JA: When did you last update the Operating System (OS) on the computer or device you're printing from?
Customer: I have never done so.

Can we please try the following:

Try powering off the ROYAL 1216X, pull the power cable out of the ROYAL 1216X, wait for 1 minute, then put the power cable back in. After this try again.
